    <title>Adaptive higher-order synchronization in kuramoto systems</title>
    <link>https://dspace.iiti.ac.in/handle/123456789/19247</link>
    <description>Title: Adaptive higher-order synchronization in kuramoto systems
Authors: Gadariya, Gunjan
Abstract: Synchronization in systems of interacting oscillators has been widely studied in nonlinear dynamics because of its relevance to many natural and engineered processes. The Kuramoto model provides a simple mathematical framework for analyzing how collective synchronization emerges in large oscillator populations. While the traditional Kuramoto model considers only pairwise interactions, many realistic systems involve interactions among multiple units simultaneously along with adaptive feedback mechanisms.&#xD;
This thesis investigates synchronization behavior in adaptive higher order Kuramoto oscillator systems containing both pairwise and triadic interactions. The main objective is to understand how adaptive higher order&#xD;
coupling affects the transition from incoherence to synchronization.&#xD;
Analytical and numerical techniques are used to study the collective dynamics of the system. The continuum limit formulation together with the Ott–Antonsen reduction method is employed to derive low-dimensional equations for the synchronization order parameter. Stability analysis and bifurcation analysis are performed to identify different synchronization states and their transition mechanisms.</description>
