The cases of molestation and kidnapping have been continuously increasing over the last 5 years. The intention is to build a wearable device, that analyses the bio-potential activity and helps reduce the chances of molestation and kidnapping. Any movement of the body is achieved by muscle contractions and is stimulated by the motor neurons. This process is called the Action Potential. Irrespective of whether an individual is free to perform the intended action or not, the action potential patterns remain the same. Electromyography(EMG) is the technique to measure these action potentials. The device uses the surface electromyography technique to measure the potentials. A predefined sequence of actions is defined for the fingers. The acquired data is analyzed to determine if the previously defined sequence of actions is intended by the individual. In case of a match, the device informs the nearby police station about the emergency and also shares the location coordinates. The device tries to predict the motion intended by the digits(fingers).en_US
