Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) are frequently created by chemical vapour deposition (CVD), and the catalyst and experimental circumstances have an impact on the chirality and diameter of the SWCNTs that are produced. We suggest building SWCNTs layer by layer by stacking carbon rings, taking use of the strong reactivity of carbon rings to effectively control the structure of the SWCNT. We look at a few potential theories for joining carbon rings in an in-plane fashion or stacking them out-of-plane. We demonstrate if helical carbon rings can be used as building blocks to fabricate SWCNTs, with exact diameters specified by the radius of the aromatic carbon ring. By combining carbon rings together to form a chain, we also find a type of chain that, according to its special inter-ring structure, can withstand extremely high tensile strains. We have confirmed the existence of such helical ring SWCNTs using scanning electron microscopy and we finds the diameter of carbon helical in nano meter. The present study presents a novel approach for the synthesis of well-defined SWCNTs and demonstrates the potential applications of the freshly synthesised carbon rings. © 2023en_US
