From past few decades, low molecular weight gels (LMWGs) are gaining the attention of research due to their applicability in biological as well as advanced material applications. These soft materials classified as organogels and hydrogels based on solvent entrap within the gel. In this project, we have designed and synthesized symmetric pseudo-peptide containing Tyr-Phe methyl esters as peptide residue. These pseudopeptides self-assembled in organic solvents results in various nanostructures. The self-assembly and nanostructural behavior based on the molecular structures on pseudo-peptide. Variation in the number of carbons in carbon chain has shown distinct behavior over self-assembly properties in different solvents. Spectroscopic studies confirmed the formation of fibrous molecular arrangements through molecular selfassembly.en_US
