Abstract: Digital Twin (DT) technology has emerged as a promising solution for transforming the existing healthcare system into a smart healthcare ecosystem, leveraging advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and the Internet of Things (IoT). ISO has provided a 23247 series that defines a framework to support the creation of Digital Twins of observable manufacturing elements. After reviewing an extensive number of journal and conference papers, it is observed that there is a lack of a generic architecture that can be used for the creation of Human DT for smart healthcare. We were inspired by ISO 23247[1] series to address this issue and proposed a generic architecture that supports the creation of Human DT for smart healthcare. The proposed generic architecture encompasses three key aspects: an entity-based architecture for Human DT, information attribute identification, technical requirements, and existing standards for information exchange within the architecture.
