This paper analyzes the performance of satellite-integrated terrestrial communications with a multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) relaying unmanned air vehicle (UAV) and multiple mobile users. Due to the time-varying nature of the channel and the movement of mobile users, the impact of outdated channel state information cannot be neglected. Shadowed-Rician fading and Nakagami-m fading channels are considered to model the non-terrestrial and terrestrial links, respectively. Frameworks to assess the outage probability (OP) and asymptotic OP are developed. The power allocation schemes at the satellite and UAV with respect to the correlation coefficient and the number of antennas at the UAV and ground users are optimized through a machine learning approach to minimize the OP. Simulation results illustrate that the satellite-UAV link dominates the overall system performance. © 2023 IEEE.en_US
