dc.description.abstractThis chapter provides a general introduction to the perovskite-type oxides and their applications. This chapter describes the previously made investigations and associated phenomena on RNiO3 (R= Pr) and A2FeMoO6 (A= Sr and Ca) oxides. The basic theories behind the charge transfer nature in RNiO3 and half-metallic transport in A2FeMoO6 materials are also discussed in detail.en_US
