Water oxidation catalysis has emerged as a pivotal research area in the quest for sustainable energy conversion technologies. Various methodologies using Ruthenium-based catalysts have been reported in the field of water oxidation catalysis. In this report, we present our work on the synthesis and characterization of pincer ligand-based ruthenium complexes which is analogous to the previously reported terpyridine and bipyridyl-based water oxidation catalyst. The Ru (II) CNC aqua complex has been characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 31P NMR, and mass spectrometry. The catalytic activity of CNC-based metal complexes toward water oxidation catalysts has been explored.en_US
