This study uses a mix of experimental techniques to examine the structural and transport properties of Fe2.97Mn0.03X4 (X = Se, S) and Fe1+xCr2−xSe4 (x = 0, 0.5). The crystal structures of the compounds are confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The elemental compositions are verified using energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). An understanding of a compound’s structural properties can be gained by using Raman spectroscopy to identify its distinctive vibrational modes. For every composition, the resistivity measurements show semiconducting behavior. The temperature-dependent Raman spectra of Fe2.97Mn0.03Se4 and Fe2.97Mn0.03S4 materials were performed to understand their structural properties.en_US
