Abstract: | This chapter reviews the recent progress in the nanostructured electrode materials for the modification of working electrode for the simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid, uric acid, and dopamine using electrochemical techniques. It has been reported that the abnormal presence of ascorbic acid, uric acid, and dopamine in the human body may cause some diseases like Parkinson’s disease. Thus it will be of significance to determine the accurate amount of these molecules in human body. Electrochemical detection has been an extensively used process to determine such molecules. Recently, simultaneous sensing of ascorbic acid, uric acid, and dopamine using electrochemical techniques has attracted the scientific community. Numerous nanostructured and hybrid composites have been utilized to construct the highly efficient electrode for the sensing of simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid, uric acid, and dopamine using electrochemical techniques. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2021.
