dc.description.abstractThe 1,6-conjugate addition of N-heterocyclic compounds to para-quinone methides has been established in the presence of Nd(OTf)3 as a catalyst. On changing different types of nucleophiles, the adduct formed either by C-centre or by N-centre. A broad substrate scope of para-quinone methides and N-heterocyclic compounds make this protocol very practical and attractive.en_US
