Abstract: Guanine crystals in biogenic systems exhibit diverse optical functionalities, however, spherulitic assemblies of guanine are rarely studied. Herein, we report the formation of emissive guanine spherulites from a basic aqueous solution via a simple evaporation-induced self-assembly process.
