| dc.description.abstract | A strong transient electromagnetic field is generated during peripheral heavy-ion collisions at relativistic energies. We estimate the electrical conductivity of a hadronic matter under an external magnetic field. We investigate the impact of three scenarios: a vanishing magnetic field, a constant magnetic field, and a time-varying magnetic field in the hadronic medium using the ideal hadron resonance gas model. The time-dependent magnetic field is found to enhance the conductivity as a higher-order correction. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd.
