Abstract: | Barium Titanate (BaTiO3: BT) is strong perovskite ceramic ferroelectrics known to the scientific community for a long time. This material has numerous noble properties related to their perovskite structure, which are yet to be explored extremely industrially. BT has dominated the field of ferroelectricity as well as piezoelectricity since its discovery [1]. BT is non-toxic in nature. Hence, it is extensively studied since the last decade as an environmentally safe ferroelectric ceramic. BT has high permittivity and outstanding ferroelectric/piezoelectric property [2,3]. Ferroelectric ceramics are used in multilayer capacitors [4], ultrasonic transducers [5], thermistors [6], opto-electronics [7], and memory device applications [8], and piezoelectric sensors [9]. |
