Abstract: | The Security of the network become very challenging task as time progress new versions of standard are added, this may have the weakness and leads to new attacks. The Analysis and mitigation of these threats and attacks will enhance the efficiency and reliability in the network during the communication. The one of the crucial attacks in Ad hoc network is Black-hole attack, where one or more nodes misbehave in network. The malicious node sends fake shortest routing path to reach the destination node and causes nodes to route packets through malicious node. We have given some crucial attacks in the Ad hoc network in section II of the paper. We have evaluated the performance of Ad hoc network in two different scenarios under Black hole attack. We have also analyzed the performance of the network with and without Black hole attack and in terms of different parameters. © 2012 IEEE. |
