Abstract: | Semiconductors provide the enabling technology for millions of products that we use in our daily lives, ranging from embedded devices to desktop computers, cell phones, cameras, TVs, and kitchen appliances. Rapid advances in semiconductor technology have resulted in greater productivity and modernization of human life, and therefore, an evolving, dynamic, and thriving semiconductor industry is essential for its continued growth. A successful semiconductor industry enables the prosperity of associated industries, such as telecommunications and CE. © 2012 IEEE. |
