Abstract: In present study, biospeckle analysis has been used to characterize the effect of salt stress on seed imbibition behavior. The effect of salt stress for different solution concentration (1, 2, and 5%) have been investigated using biospeckle analysis in conjunction with subtraction average (SA) based method. The experimental results show that the method can be efficiently used to characterize the effect of salt stress on seed imbibition. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
