Abstract: An experimental study is reported for air flow mapping using Talbot interferometry and image processing algorithm. Light from the laser is collimated and are focused on the Talbot interferometer (TI). The set-up is arranged such that the horizontal fringes due to collimation is obtained. When the static pressure probe (for air flow) is inserted between the pair of grating, the change in refractive index between the pair of grating deteriorates the fringe patterns and is used to profile air flow. © 2019 IEEE.
