dc.description.abstractIn this paper, we analyze the performance of an OFDM based amplify and forward (AF) cooperative system for multiple relay with relay selection over independent but not necessarily identically distributed (i.n.i.d.) frequency selective Nakagami-m fading channels. In the proposed work, lower-bound expression for the outage probability is derived, and the effect of nonlinearity of PA is highlighted for different threshold values of SNRs. Asymptotic outage probability expressions are also derived for high SNR regime to describe the diversity order of the system. Further, impact of multiple relay and various fading parameters is also highlighted on the performance of the considered system. Finally, all analytical results are verified through Monte-Carlo simulations for various threshold SNRs and for number of relays. © 2016 IEEE.en_US
