Starting with a brief review of IceCube experiment, we discuss the potential of IceCube in probing physics beyond the domain of the standard model of particle physics. Here we concentrate on the possible neutrino-dark matter interactions as the high energy astrophysical neutrinos travel through the cosmos. We also compare the potential of IceCube with LHC in probing non-standard neutrino-nucleon interactions. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2020.en_US
