Abstract: Graphene oxide is utilized as an environmentally friendly and efficient catalyst for an ultrasound mediated multi-component coupling reaction that involves aldehyde, amine/ethylacetoacetate and diethyl phosphite/urea, under solvent-free conditions, leading to the bioactive α-aminophosphonates and 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-ones with excellent yield.
