Abstract: | The work demonstrated in the thesis entitled "INVESTIGATION OF STRUCTURAL AND TOPOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF MIXED METAL─ORGANIC FRAMEWORKS (MOFS) AND THEIR POTENTIAL APPLICATIONS" was initiated in May 2016 in the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Indore. Objectives and Scope The focal points of thesis work are as follows 1. Facile synthesis of various Mixed-Metal Organic Frameworks (M MOFs) via direct synthesis method using organic/metalloligands. 2. Characterizations and topological analysis of M-MOFs and explored their applications in various fields. 3. Preparation of M-MOF derived composite and their various characterizations. 4. Fabrication of M-MOFs and M-MOFs derived composite for supercapacitor application. 5. Study of supercapacitor properties through various electrochemical techniques. 6. Synthesis of luminescence Dy-MOF and investigated as a sensor for selective nitroaromatics. The present thesis is summarized in six chapters. It begins with a general introduction of MOF, followed by different synthetic methods of M-MOFs, structural description, topological analysis, and several applications. Further, the energy storage and water remediation applications will be explored and detailed in subsequent chapters. Finally, the thesis focused on developing the perspectives of advanced M-MOF materials to attain fascinating properties for sustainable and cost-effective potential applications. |
