Abstract: In this project, our main aim is focused on increasing the overall thermoelec tric properties of polycrystalline SnSe by tuning its thermal conductivity. Our plan is to make use of the strategies like optimization of carrier density by inclusion of secondary phases by formation of composites. Thus the main objectives of this project work is preparation of polycrystalline composites of SnSe with MnSe, structural characterization of the prepared sample using XRD and Raman spectroscopy, and measurement of electrical and thermal properties of the prepared samples.
