dc.description.abstractA mild and efficient synergistic approach for decarboxylative aroylation of 2-aryl-pyrido[1,2- a]pyrimidin-4-ones having intrinsic directing group has been developed by merging of palladium catalysis and photo-redox catalysis at room temperature. Therapeutically interesting aryl ketones of pyrido[1,2- a]pyrimidin-4-one have been synthesized in good to excellent yield with good functional group tolerance. © 2022 Wiley-VCH GmbH.en_US
