Abstract: | Laser has evolved as one of the best precision techniques in modern-day machining and manufacturing tools. This chapter deals with the various applications of lasers in various areas such as defence sector, telecommunication, medical industry, and manufacturing industry. The factors deciding the advantages and limitations of lasers are also discussed.
