The process of three-dimensional (3D) printing is a groundbreaking technique of manufacturing that involves the creation of a 3D item by the consecutive deposition of materials in layers. In the context of green materials, there has been a significant focus from both academia and industry on 3DP additive manufacturing (AM) of natural-fiber-reinforced composites (NFRCs) nowadays. The mechanical and tribological properties (TPs) of these materials, including their high strength, elasticity, friction, and wear resistance (WRE), render them well-suited for a diverse array of industrial applications. This is particularly relevant in situations where the management of significant waste quantities is a concern, as their environmentally friendly nature provides them with a distinct advantage over traditional synthetic materials. In the present chapter, we give an overview that centers on the TPs of 3D AM composite materials (CMs) reinforced with various types of natural fibers (NF), drawing from recent and pertinent investigations documented in the scientific literature. The objective of this chapter is to endow the researcher with an overview of the subject matter, delving into the existing understanding of the wear properties and friction of 3DP NFRCs when subjected to various operational conditions, along with the impact of fibers. © 2024 selection and editorial matter, Rashi Tyagi, Ranvijay Kumar, and Nishant Ranjanen_US
