Abstract: Using RFTA and TEAI as the catalytic amounts, a very effective and successful peroxidative dearomatized organic transformation was achieved by visible light catalysis. No metal is used in this transition, and no additional additives like buffer are used. Outstanding yields were demonstrated over a wide range of substrate scopes using ortho-selective for naphthol and para-selective for phenol. Reaction Condition is notable and rather straightforward.
