Abstract: Efforts are being made to perform p–O and O–O collisions at the LHC and RHIC energies in order to understand the true origin of flow-like signatures and the applicability of hydrodynamics in small collision systems, the effects of soft QCD dynamics, the sensitivity of jet-like correlations, and non-equilibrium effects. In this analysis, we report the results on Bjorken energy density, kinetic freeze-out parameters, and elliptic flow in O–O collisions at sNN = 7 TeV using a multi-phase transport model (AMPT) for Woods-Saxon, harmonic-oscillator, and α-clustered nuclear charge density profiles. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.
