Abstract: | Genomic deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), the hereditary material found in the nuclei of cells, serves as the blueprint of life. It is composed of four fundamental nucleotides: deoxyadenosine monophosphate (dAMP), deoxythymidine monophosphate (dTMP), deoxyguanosine monophosphate (dGMP), and deoxycytidine monophosphate (dCMP) [1]. Within the complex structure of DNA lies the secrets of evolution, diversity, genetics, and inheritance, making it a foundation of biological research and understanding. Since the landmark discovery of the DNA double helix structure by Watson and Crick in 1953, the ability to decode the genetic information encoded in DNA has been paramount in advancing our understanding of life processes. |
