Abstract: Cyber-physical system (CPS) is dened as the fusion of cyber world and the dynamic physical world. CPS perceives the physical world, processes the data by computers, and affects and changes the physical world. Tight coupling of cyber and physical resources and coordination between them is the prime differentiator of CPS, which yields novel capabilities. Moreover, CPS has signicantly more intelligence in actuators and sensors with substantially stricter performance constraints. © 2016 by Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
