Abstract: Vortical motion in the deconfined QCD matter is expected to play a major role in the hadrons polarization in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. The present study focuses on the polarization of Λ and Λ¯ hyperons due to thermal vorticity. We develop a second-order viscous hydrodynamics framework coupled with thermal vorticity. Under the vortical QGP evolution framework, we explore the transverse momentum (p<inf>T</inf>) dependence Λ-hyperon polarization at freeze-out hypersurface. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
