Abstract: This study presents a Si/Al<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf>/Graphene microring resonator modulator with 3.5 μm radius and 75 nm gap, achieving 2 nm/V shift, 0.9 dB/cm loss, and ≥140 GHz speed at 1.5V. Synopsys RSoft simulations validate the potential of the device for energy-efficient, high-speed photonic systems supporting terabit-per-second data rates. © 2025 IEEE.
