Abstract: In non-central heavy-ion collisions, along with the magnetic field, a huge amount of vorticity is expected to be produced. This vorticity or the rotation (ω[jls-end-space/]) can have effects on the system analogous to those because of the magnetic field. In this study, we focused on the liquid–gas phase transition in hadron gas using a hadron resonance gas (HRG) model with van der Waals interaction among the hadrons. We find that rotation plays a similar role to baryochemical potential (μB[jls-end-space/]) in the thermodynamic properties of the hadron gas. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd.
