Abstract: The focal points of thesis work are given below  Design and synthesis of several transition/inert transition metal based nanomaterials from metal precursors under mild reaction condition.  Design and synthesis of several transition/inert transition metal based nanomaterials from single source molecular precursors (SSMPs) under mild reaction condition.  Prepared nanomaterials were characterized through various physicochemical characterization techniques such as PXRD, FESEM, HRTEM, MAPPING, EDAX, FTIR, BET, TGA, XPS, UV, TPR etc.  Nanomaterials utilized as heterogeneous catalyst in various organic transformations and water splitting for oxygen evolution reactions.
