Abstract: An Integration testing method for component-based software is a logical extension of unit testing. Integration testing identifies problems that arise when units are combined. A component, in this sense, refers to an integrated aggregation of more than one unit. The idea is to test collection of modules and eventually expand the process to test your modules with those of other groups. The method is based on UML notations, that covers an integration testing process at an interface level and supported by the use of Argo/UML tools. Components and their interactions are represented by using UML diagrams. Integrating testing process is proposed from collection of components in a standard component-based software engineering approach. A case study that is proposed in the java language is representing to illustrate the application of the method.
