Abstract: This work reports the spectral photoresponse tunability of MgZnO (MZO) based Ultraviolet (UV) photodetector fabricated using dual ion beam sputtering (DIBS). The photoresponse behavior changes as the cut-off wavelength of fabricated photodetectors decreases with increase in Mg concentration from 5 to 20 %. The fabricated photodetectors are also probed for temporal response and noise measurements. Therefore, this work is important in terms of predicting the behavioral performance of MZO based UV photodetectors with varied Mg concentration grown by DIBS system as one of the possible option to fabricate cost-effective and large area MZO based UV-Photodetectors. © 2018 IEEE.
